The history of this El Naranjal plantation
Given to José Arnold by his grandfather for his sixth birthday, this magnificent little plot of land facing the Caribbean Sea is lined with orange trees and home to coffee plants that are sometimes centuries old. This unique plantation now produces coffee with exceptionally fine orange notes.
Dr. Arnold, a young surgeon, trained in Paris at Saint Louis before returning to tend his plantation. Charming and cultured, he and his son helped reinvigorate Honduran coffee, making it one of the finest available.
The promise is there in the cup: invigorating and spicy, it makes an excellent morning coffee.
