The history of this El Naranjal plantation
Given to José Arnold by his grandfather for his sixth birthday, this magnificent little plot of land facing the Caribbean Sea is lined with orange trees and home to coffee plants that are sometimes centuries old. This unique plantation now produces coffee with exceptionally delicate orange notes.
Dr. Arnold, a young surgeon, trained at Saint-Louis in Paris and then returned to tend his plantation. Charming and cultured, he and his son contributed to the revitalization of Honduran coffee, making his own one of the finest coffees available.
A promise of travel in the cup: invigorating and tangy, it will make an excellent morning coffee.
